   Very strange way for making dropshadows in pixelmator. If you do it like they do in the tutorials at http://pixelmatorpodcast.com then you would have made a dropshadow within 4 seconds, by just loading the selection fill it with black on a new layer and use gaussian blur and the move tool.

     Well, there are many other ways to create a dropshadow. If you think your way is better so use your method!
